Leatherwork & Living History Demonstrations

If you are holding a festival or event and would like a demonstration of leatherwork or the lifestyle of a Viking trader, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

One of my highlights this year was an invitation to demonstrate leatherwork twice at Queensland Museum’s “Medieval Power After Dark Exhibition”.

Another has been the invitation from Maleny Art Direct (MAD) Gallery to display my work there and to demonstrate on a monthly basis.

Previously I have been invited by the Capricornia Medieval Guild to demonstrate at Carivale Historica in Rockhampton.

I have also had the pleasure of demonstrating at St Ives Medieval Faire in Sydney, Viking Village Solstice in Lismore, Abbey Medieval Festival at Caboolture, Ironfest at Lithgow and History Alive at Fort Lytton, Brisbane.

Recently I have been invited to demonstrate leatherwork at the World Environment Day at Cotton Tree.

Demonstrating is my way of sharing knowledge and providing others the opportunity to experience these skills.  It’s all about Keeping the Old Skills Alive.
